Bucky smiled, turning so that he could look down at her. There was a hint of something in his eyes as he leaned in, kissing her cheek. "I remember you. I remember everything now. Not losing that." One of his hands came up to cup her cheek, running his thumb along the length of her jawline. "No matter what happens, I'll stand by you. By Steve. That's where I belong."
It had been too long. Lifting her hand to his lips, he kissed her fingertips. "Do you remember the nights before a mission? How we would prepare for them?" He laughed lightly. "Fighting until we could barely stand, then fighting some more." He gave her hand a squeeze.
"I've really grown to love this place. You'd hate it. Too slow."
